75-Year-Old Woman Shoots 84-Year-Old Boyfriend During an Argument

Mary Karacas booking photo A 75-year-old woman allegedly fatally shot her 84-year-old boyfriend during an altercation, Simi Valley Police officials said Monday. Simi Valley police were called to the home in the 6200 block of Anastasia Avenue about 4:15 p.m. Sunday to check the well-being of the resident, police said in a news release. Officers found Salvatore Orefice partially covered and with a gunshot wound, police said. While police were at the scene, Mary Karacas, 75, arrived in the home and told investigators that she shot Orefice during an altercation. She added that she had a “long-standing relationship” with the victim. She was arrested and booked into the Ventura County jail on suspicion of murder, police said.

House of Reps summon Prison Controller-General after his aide beat up Female Lawmaker at National Assembly

The Leadership of the House of Representatives have summoned the Controller-General of Nigeria Prison, Peter Ezenwa Ekpendu, over allegations that one of his aides slapped a female lawmaker, Onyemeachi Mrakpor aka ADA ANIOMA, for overtaking his convoy within the premises of the National Assembly on Wednesday April 20th. Three ladies were caught yesterday by the Bauchi State Police. The ladies which names were withheld by the police confessed that they steal babies for a living. One of the ladies said she stole the baby and sold it to the second lady for #200, 000. After much investigations, it was discovered that the the second lady previously sold a baby girl to another lady from Benue for #80, 000. The Benue Police Command later recovered all the stolen babies and assured that the culprits will be charged to court for further investigations.

The murder of a 20-year-old girl, Joan Egemba, who was allegedly stabbed and strangled to death after being raped by some unknown men in the Ijebu Igbo area of Ogun State, has thrown her family into mourning and great sorrow.. NA WAH! Police Arrest 8 years Old Boy

MEN of the Ogun State Police Command have arrested Oyindamola Onimole an eight-year-old pupil at Prospect Primary School in Akute for reporting a teacher in the school identified as Mrs Oni to his mother for beating him.    In a bizarre and unprecedented case, the either year old was detained at the Ajuwon Police Station after being arrested for reporting the teacher. Apparently, Mrs Oni, who is the wife of one of the policemen at the station, had maltreated Oyindamola at school and the pupil reported her to his mother, Mrs Nimota Onimole, who visited the school and complained about the assault.    After the mother left, the teacher was said to have descended on the child again for daring to report her to his mother. Female Kidnapper stripped naked and beaten by angry mob

It was a bad day in the office for a suspected  female kidnapper  who allegedly tried to abduct a child on her way back from school at Okeho, Dopemu area of Lagos State, as she was nabbed by vigilant residents of the area who caught on her and gave her the beating of her life. The incident which happened on Tuesday, March 15, was captured by a Facebook user by the name  Ojagbule Samuel , who recorded the proceedings on camera. According to Samuel, the angry crowd descended on  the middle aged lady  and she was stripped naked and beaten blue black with blood gushing out of her body. The mob was hell bent on setting her on fire but for the intervention of some police officers who rescued her and whisked her away to their station. Egyptian Blogger Sentenced to 3years in Prison

An Egyptian blogger has reportedly been sentenced to three years in jail with hard labour over stereotypical statements made on National Television. The blogger, Taymour el-Sobki reportedly claimed on national television that 30% of Egyptian wives would cheat on their husbands if they had the chance leading to the charge of ‘spreading false news’. The Egyptian court responsible for El-Sobki's sentencing claims that his comments had the potential to "harm public peace and damage the public interest." The blogger has reportedly suffered serious backlash from other TV talk show hosts as well as civilians who have filed complaints to public prosecutors with El-Sobki being accused of insulting Egyptian women. Man Kills Best Friend For Urinating in His Shop

A man popularly known as Oshare stabed his friend, Rasta and harmed others at the recreation center of the Association of Maritime Truck Owners Berger, Mile 2 zone of Lagos over the casualty urinating close to his shop.  Oshare, allegedly tested the expired for fouling up the spot, said to be a couple ventures from his shop. The Police in Bayelsa say a policeman attached to the state Command died of gunshot wounds following a gun duel with robbers in Yenagoa on New Year day. Mr Asinim Butswat, a DSP, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that a five-man robbery gang had attacked and robbed one Evelyn Patrick at Agudama area of Yenagoa on that fateful day shooting dead one Mr Victor Abule, 23, in the process.
