Another day, another rap star with their own sneaker line. Gucci Mane has unveiled sneakers created in collaboration with Reebok, complete with numerous stamps of his famous ice-cream logo — which was once  etched on his face  up until about a year ago. Dubbed the Reebok Guwops, the sneaker will release on Oct. 17 in conjunction with his new record  Mr. Davis , according to  Pitchfork .  Mane released shots of the Guwops via Instagram  on Thursday , and well, they're quite the sight. The white and silver sneakers feature a large metal ice cream charm on the side, as well as the numbers 10 and 17 etched on the back — a nod to Mane's label, 1017 Records, and his grandfather's address. Mane also announced in another Instagram post that he would serve as a face for Reebok Classics, joining the likes of Rae Sremmurd and Machine Gun Kelly who have been courted by the shoe brand. One of the most iconic musicians in music history, Prince has died according to breaking news on international media platforms including TMZ and Sky News. Prince had a medical emergency on April 15th that forced his private jet to make an emergency landing in Illinois. He was hospitalized briefly after the incident but appeared at a concert the next day on April 16th (pictured above) where he assured his fans that he was okay. Prior to then, he had canceled two shows due to health problems. His family told TMZ that he had been battling a bad bout of flu. His body was discovered at his Paisley Park compound in Minnesota early Thursday morning, April 21st. He was 57 years old. May his soul rest in peace, amen.

YBNL Youngest Star,  Lil Kesh  celebrated his 21st birthday today, March 17, 2016. Apart from releasing his 19-track debut album 'YAGI' yesteday, the singer bought a new car for himself to mark his new age.   He posted the photo on his Instagram page and wrote: “ #YAGI  for you guys and this for me. Gift to myself. Thank you Lord for the ride. New age new whip #MrMeYagi ”

Talented Nigerian singer and producer, J Martins has disclosed plans to drop his fourth studio album titled “Authentic’’ . The Anambra born artist, who is highly recognised in the Nigerian music industry, disclosed this on Thursday in Abuja that the album will drop on March 21. The singer said on his twitter handle (@Realjmartins) that the new album will feature big names in the Nigerian music industry and top African acts. According to him, the new album will feature Phyno, Dj Arafat, Jose Chameleon and veteran highlife artiste, Bright Chimezie featured in the new hit. “Finally, my fourth studio album will be dropping on March 21 and I bet you’re gonna love it, if you are a lover of African music with some hip life too,” he concluded. Will the real Kendrick Lamar fans please stand up?  T he  untitled unmastered  rapper has announced that he's holding a lyric contest on Twitter at 4 p.m. PST Wednesday. He'll be tweeting out eight questions — one about each of his new album's eight songs — focusing on their lyrics.  The first participant to reply with the correct answer (as well as the hashtag #untitledlyrics) will win a t-shirt, hat, and backpack.
