Nigerian Girl won 12 out of 15 Awards in Ghanaian school

A school of Medical Sciences in Ghana, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, has witnessed a historic moment since its inception with a record set by Nigerian Fathia Ayodele Kareem, who won 12 out of 15 awards to graduating students who distinguished themselves during their period of study. 25yrs old Fathia, who was a student of Wesley Girls High School, bagged the initial record of 8 out of 15. It was a happy and proud moment for her and her family when she took several turns to receive the awards. According to Ultimate FM, when she was asked if she expected to get the number of awards, she said: “Yes and No. Yes because I worked hard by studying and no because I did not expect to receive these number of awards. i see Nigerians going places .. Another Death as Female Cameroonia Goalkeeper Dies at 26

The goalkeeper of a Cameroonian women's side has died after collapsing during a warm-up exercise session, the Cameroon Football Federation has said. Jeanine Christelle Djomnang, 26, became ill before a Femina Stars Ebolowa match in southern Cameroon on Sunday, and died on her way to hospital. The federation says initial reports suggest she died of a heart attack but it is now awaiting a medical report. It comes days after Cameroon player Patrick Ekeng died in Romania. Djomnang complained of chest pains as she prepared to take on Louves MINPROFF Yaounde in the Cameroon elite league and was taken to hospital. Cameroon's African Women Footballer of the Year Gaelle Enganamouit, who now plays in Sweden, was one of the first to react to the news. "It's with sadness that I have learnt of the death of my team-mate Djomnang Jeanine Christelle of Femina Stars Ebolowa, may her soul rest in peace," she wrote on social media. Patrick Ekeng Dies at Age 26

Dinamo Bucharest midfielder  Patrick Ekeng  who is also a Cameroor player has passed away at the age of 26 after collapsing on the pitch during Friday's game against Viitorul. Ekeng came off the bench in the 62nd minute of the match, but fell to the ground seven minutes later and was immediately rushed to hospital  after collapsing on the field but medics were unable to revive him . The Cameroonian received CPR for 90 minutes before being pronounced dead, with his passing later confirmed in a post on Dinamo Bucharest's Facebook page. Play resumed after Ekeng's collapse and the game was completed. The Romanian Football Federation announced later on Friday night that this week's matches, including the Romanian Cup final between Dinamo and CFR Cluj on Tuesday, would be postponed.
