Cristiano Ronaldo opens the doors of his new five-star hotel this week - and we can reveal what is inside. The Euro 2016 and Champions League winner is currently on holiday on Ibiza, recovering from a busy season on board a private yacht. But the Real Madrid superstar, 31, returned to his native Funchal in Madeira for the grand opening of his boutique hotel on Friday. England Annouces New Manager

Sam Allardyce has been appointed England manager. The 61-year-old signed an initial two-year deal after compensation was agreed with Sunderland, whom he steered to Premier League safety last season. He succeeds Roy Hodgson, who quit after England were knocked out of Euro 2016 in the last 16 by Iceland. Allardyce's first game in charge will be a friendly at Wembley on Thursday, 1 September against as yet unnamed opponents. His first competitive match will be in Slovakia on 4 September as England begin their qualifying campaign for the 2018 World Cup. He leaves Sunderland after nine months, having helped them avoid relegation last season. The Black Cats are now looking for their ninth manager in eight years. A statement from the club read: "The focus of everyone at Sunderland AFC is on moving forward quickly and decisively, with the appointment of the club's new manager to be confirmed at the earliest opportunity." Another Death as Female Cameroonia Goalkeeper Dies at 26

The goalkeeper of a Cameroonian women's side has died after collapsing during a warm-up exercise session, the Cameroon Football Federation has said. Jeanine Christelle Djomnang, 26, became ill before a Femina Stars Ebolowa match in southern Cameroon on Sunday, and died on her way to hospital. The federation says initial reports suggest she died of a heart attack but it is now awaiting a medical report. It comes days after Cameroon player Patrick Ekeng died in Romania. Djomnang complained of chest pains as she prepared to take on Louves MINPROFF Yaounde in the Cameroon elite league and was taken to hospital. Cameroon's African Women Footballer of the Year Gaelle Enganamouit, who now plays in Sweden, was one of the first to react to the news. "It's with sadness that I have learnt of the death of my team-mate Djomnang Jeanine Christelle of Femina Stars Ebolowa, may her soul rest in peace," she wrote on social media. Patrick Ekeng Dies at Age 26

Dinamo Bucharest midfielder  Patrick Ekeng  who is also a Cameroor player has passed away at the age of 26 after collapsing on the pitch during Friday's game against Viitorul. Ekeng came off the bench in the 62nd minute of the match, but fell to the ground seven minutes later and was immediately rushed to hospital  after collapsing on the field but medics were unable to revive him . The Cameroonian received CPR for 90 minutes before being pronounced dead, with his passing later confirmed in a post on Dinamo Bucharest's Facebook page. Play resumed after Ekeng's collapse and the game was completed. The Romanian Football Federation announced later on Friday night that this week's matches, including the Romanian Cup final between Dinamo and CFR Cluj on Tuesday, would be postponed. Ex Chelsea Boss Jose Mourinho Signs £15m Pre-contract Agreement With Manchester United

Ex Chelsea Manager Jose Mourinho according to several media reports has signed a pre-contract agreement with Manchester United to become the club's next manager, replacing Louis van Gaal. A report from El País in Spain claims that Gestifute, the company of Mourinho's agent Jorge Mendes, has confirmed that the Portuguese manager signed an agreement last month to take him to Old Trafford. However, United can back out of the deal if they change their minds.  “If United do not sign the final contract [with Mourinho] before 1 May, they must pay £5m; if by 1 June he’s still not signed, they shall pay another £10m,” the report said.  “May is the key, because it’s the month in which the vast majority of the signings of players are closed and the plans formed.”.
