Air strikes kill ISIL fighters in Libya

Six US air strikes on an ISIL desert camp in Libya killed 17 fighters and destroyed three vehicles, the first American attack in Libya since President Donald Trump took office in January. US Africa Command said in a statement on Sunday that strikes on Friday targeted a camp 240km southeast of Sirte, a city that was once the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant stronghold in Libya. The camp was used to move fighters in and out of Libya, plot attacks and store weapons, the statement said. "ISIS and al-Qaeda have taken advantage of ungoverned spaces in Libya to establish sanctuaries for plotting, inspiring and directing terror attacks," it said, using another acronym for ISIL. The strikes were carried out in coordination with Libya's Government of National Accord, it added. A US official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the air raids were carried out by armed drones. The last-known US strike in Libya was on January 19, a day before Trump's inaug...

Gucci Mane's new sneakers has a big shiny metal ice-cream cone

Another day, another rap star with their own sneaker line. Gucci Mane has unveiled sneakers created in collaboration with Reebok, complete with numerous stamps of his famous ice-cream logo — which was once  etched on his face  up until about a year ago. Dubbed the Reebok Guwops, the sneaker will release on Oct. 17 in conjunction with his new record  Mr. Davis , according to  Pitchfork .  Mane released shots of the Guwops via Instagram  on Thursday , and well, they're quite the sight. The white and silver sneakers feature a large metal ice cream charm on the side, as well as the numbers 10 and 17 etched on the back — a nod to Mane's label, 1017 Records, and his grandfather's address. Mane also announced in another Instagram post that he would serve as a face for Reebok Classics, joining the likes of Rae Sremmurd and Machine Gun Kelly who have been courted by the shoe brand. We'd wonder if that giant charm would be annoying to walk around w...

6 Reasons why you must TRUST GOD

Sometimes we put our trust on our closest friends and then we think we are safe. We let them know all our secrets and forget that sometimes the tables do turnaround bringing your enemy to be your best friend and your best friend your worst enemy. And when that one person let out your entire secret you will then be full of regrets, shame and betrayed. “ Ps 20:7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God” There are about 181 verses in the bible, both the trust of man and of God. But am going to show you 6 (six) reasons on why you should trust God over man. One reason you must trust God is: He Knows You by Name: Isa 43:1 But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. If you continue to read down to verse 7 you will then understand why you should trust him. He Thinks About You: Psa 139: 17 How pre...

7 steps to Help you in Time of Struggle

Over the course of our lives, we will all experience a struggle of one kind or another. We are not alone when we encounter heartbreak, death, or sickness. But when the worst of times comes, when we’re forced to face these trials, our goal  should not be to try to smile them away, to ignore the pain and suffering, or to shove them down into a deep, dark place. So what should our goal be? It’s easy to panic in the midst of the storm as the disciples did in the boat — when, with blank minds, we forget who is by our side and assume the absolute worst. But panic cannot be our next step. In fact, panic often prevents us from taking any next steps at all. It’s also easy to let this trouble of ours fester and stew beneath the surface, resulting in anger and depression deep down below the feigned happiness. We find someone else to blame, whether God or doctors or others, and resent them throughout our day. If we let it, bitterness then easily infects and destroys our lives. It tur...
