It takes the word to gain mastery in the world

Most of the troubles that believers encounter are predominantly due to ignorance of their redemptive rights (Hosea 4:6). That you are a child of God alone does not guarantee your victory in the battles of life. You need relevant knowledge of God’s word to generate power for unending breakthrough in whatever area the enemy is challenging your faith.

Your personal understanding of what words says over every situation is what enables you to gain mystery over life’s situations. The knowledge of God’s word that you have about that situation will give you victory over it.

Evils come through sin and ignorance

Of the two, ignorance is more pathetic. Ignorance is a deadly enemy of victory. If you are ignorant of god’s word in a particular situation, the best you will likely do is to explain it away, believing that it is God’s will.

If you want to enjoy the benefits of redemption, you should not take the world’s views of things at face value. You must be able to probe all things in line with the final authority over every issue of life.

Have insatiable passion for the word

Consequently, you must agree with yourself that you require personal knowledge of the scriptures for your faith to growth, without which you never received answer to your prayer. Faith is the platform for receiving answer to your prayer, and this comes as you continually give heed to the word. (Hab. 2:4, Matt. 9:29, Rom 10:17).

It demands personal responsibility

Jesus said often; “According to your faith be it unto you.” This means that how much you believe Him for. Personal faith is the answer, as another man’s faith cannot offer you lasting victory over your personal issues. You have to be able to stand on your own feet to fight your battles irrespective of any help the brethren can render to you.

Since faith comes by hearing, you require personal responsibility to search for the word. Your personal effort must go into searching diligently for relevant scriptures that address the areas you require breakthrough.

Give it all it takes

Having located relevant scriptures that address your situation, then you must give diligent attention to its practise.
“And it shall come to pass, if thou shall hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to do his commandments .... that the LORD thy God will set on high above all nations of the earth: And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee...” (Deut 28:1-14).


Obedience to the word of the scriptures is the pathway to ending breakthroughs in life. So, let the word of God dwell in you richly. Jesus is Lord!

Man Cries Out as He is Sentenced to Jail for fetching Rain Water

Gary Harrington of Eagle Point, has been sentenced to 30 days in jail and to pay a fine of $1,500, all because he had three reservoirs on his own property, that he used to collect and use rainwater.
