Young Model Jump off Rooftop to Avoid Being Raped

20 year old model and university student named Gulay Bursali, jumped naked from a very high Istanbul apartment where she was staying with her boyfriend, to escape being raped by an estate agent who rented them the flat, alongside his friend. Gulay Bursali and her boyfriend  had asked a property agent if there was an empty apartment they could rent for the weekend, and were given the keys to a property in Basaksehir, a district located on the European side of Istanbul. But after partying with friends in a local bar, they had gone back to the flat where they ended up being attacked by the estate agent. According to the boyfriend’s statement to police, the estate agent had tricked his way inside by claiming he wanted to get some things from the apartment. Once inside, the estate agent and a friend beat him up, took his phone and locked him inside one of the rooms. They then locked the young woman in another room, and stripped her naked before she managed to open the window...

DON'T QUACK LIKE DUCKS, SOAR LIKE AN EAGLE

I received this story this morning, it came in so timely and thought I should share ... Enjoy Good article. DUCKS QUACK WHILE EAGLES SOAR   I was waiting in line for a ride at the airport, when a cab pulled up; the first thing I noticed was that the taxi was polished to a bright shine, smartly dressed in a white shirt, black tie and freshly pressed black slacks.  The cab driver jumped out and rounded the car to open the back passenger door for me. He handed me a laminated card and said: I'm Wasiu, your driver.  While I'm loading your bags in the trunk I'd like u to read my mission statement.' Taken aback, I read the card; It said: Wasiu's Mission Statement:   " To get my customers to their destination in the quickest, safest and cheapest way possible in a friendly environment" .   This blew me away. Especially when I noticed that the inside of the cab matched the outside. Spotlessly clean!  As he slid behind the wheel, Wasiu sa...

Do You Love Him?

God so loved the world that He gave Jesus - ( John 3:16). And Jesus so loved us that He gave Himself for us - Rom 5:5, John 15:13 . It involves sacrifice and depicts laying down your own desires for the benefit of mankind, especially your nation. That is, giving up your own will and time to pray for the peace, unity and progress of this nation. Love is a spiritual catalyst that empowers the purposeful and people-oriented leadership that transforms a nation. Read More: WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW Whosoever loves God should also love his nation by praying for her peace, unity and socio-economic advancement - Ps 122:6-8. Nehemiah prayed and fasted for the restoration of glory and colour of Jerusalem – ( Neh 1:4 -11). Daniel also prayed and fasted for the freedom of his nation from captivity - Dan 9:3-20 . It is good and acceptable in the sight of God to pray and intercede for the peace of our nation and for those in authority - 1Tim 2:2-3. For the sake of love for ...

HOW TO ACHIEVED FREEDOM

Salvation of humanity from the evil in this world and the world to come is the greatest miracle of all ages. That Jesus came to die for humanity and spilled his blood on earth for the remission of our sin is the greatest news of all times. “ Act 10:43 says “To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins”. “ Act 26:18 to open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me” . Jesus was anointed to put an end to all works of the devil, ( Act10:38). With resurrection, Christ is risen with greater power and glory to put an end to all oppressions of wickedness against those that embrace this truth and follow after Him………. And Jesus came (after resurrection) and spoke unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth ( Mtt 28...

Are We all Christians?

Christianity is the  world's largest religion ,  with over 2.4 billion adherents, known as  Christians .  Christians believe that Jesus is the  Son of God  and the  savior of humanity  whose coming as  Christ  or the  Messiah  was prophesied in the  Old Testament .  "What is a Christian?" A dictionary definition of a Christian would be something similar to “a person professing belief in Jesus as the Christ or in the religion based on the teachings of Jesus.” While this is a good starting point, like many dictionary definitions, it falls somewhat short of really communicating the biblical truth of what it means to be a Christian. The word “Christian” is used three times in the New Testament ( Acts 11:26 ;  26:28 ;  1 Peter 4:16 ). Followers of Jesus Christ were first called “Christians” in Antioch ( Acts 11:26 ) because their behavior, activity, and speech were like Christ. The word “Christian”...

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW

Today am going to share a few secrets with you, there are somethings we don't know we can accomplish when we are in Christ.  We call ourselves Christians, but not all of us knows what that really means. I will discuss more on that on my next post. If you have received Jesus Christ as your personal  Savior, you can be certain of these things: You are a child of God. “ But as many as received him, he gave right to become the children of God, even to those who believe in his name ” ( Jn.1:12 ). You are forgiven and justified. “ He has…forgiven you all trespasses” ( Col.2:13 ); “ Justified freely by His grace through redemption that is in Christ Jesus ” ( Rom.3:4 ). You have new life from God. If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold all things have become new”(2Cor.5:17) You are saved for eternity. He who hears my word and believes in Him who sent me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has ...

In an investigation by Christina Lamb for the Sunday Times Magazine, Ms Lamb reports: ‘They film schoolgirls being raped over and over again until their scream become silent Os.’ Some of the girls who managed to escape reportedly told Ms Lamb they were kept in ‘women’s prisons’ where they were taught about Islam. Boko Haram fighters would visit and pick their wives. The girls were powerless to resist as even then the men would be heavily armed. They were shown videos of people being raped, tortured and killed as a threat of what would happen to them if they tried to run away. BUSTED!!! Teacher Caught Harassing Junior Students

I would like to report the management of Queen’s College Yaba. As I write, the principal and vice principals have, over a month now, deliberately suppressed several complaints of sexual harassment which my daughter and some other students have consistently reported to their class teacher, their year head, the head of department of the accused teacher and the principal’s office. My daughter is in JSS2, second term at Queen’s College. During their visiting day in first term she complained to me that there is an Integrated Science teacher, Mr Oshifala who has been harrassing her and some other students. I asked her if the man had touched her and she said no, he only tells them that they are looking beautiful and he wants to marry them. I dismissed her complaints as typical compliments from a teacher. However, two weeks later, on Thursday, she called me late at night and she was crying bitterly. I could barely hear what she was saying until after I had calmed her down. Me myse...
